Jon Skovron is an American author of speculative fiction for young adults and adults, born in 1976 in Columbus, Ohio. His early novel Misfit was a finalist for the 2011 Cybils Award in the young-adult speculative fiction category. He is also known for the contemporary fantasy Man Made Boy and for the epic fantasy series Empire of Storms, beginning with Hope and Red and continuing through Bane and Shadow and Blood and Tempest. Skovron has since moved into media tie-in writing, contributing novels to the G.I. Joe Classified line, and into original epic fantasy with The Goddess War series, including The Ranger of Marzanna, The Queen of Izmoroz, and The Wizard of Eventide.
