Jordan L. Hawk

Jordan L. Hawk is an American author of paranormal romance and fantasy known for pairing supernatural adventure with LGBTQ romance. Hawk's best-known work is the Whyborne & Griffin series, beginning with Widdershins, which follows a closeted Victorian-era museum archivist and a rough-edged detective as they investigate Lovecraftian monsters while falling in love. Hawk has built out a wider body of interconnected series in the same vein, including the urban fantasy SPECTR series (Hoarfrost, Stormhaven, Fallow), the magic-and-crime Hexworld books, and the Spirits and Pride series. Across this body of work, Hawk consistently returns to the combination of cosmic-horror-inflected monster hunting with committed same-sex romantic partnerships, publishing prolifically across more than thirty novels and novellas spanning these connected worlds.
