Jordan Rivet

Jordan Rivet is an American writer of young adult science fiction and fantasy from Arizona, now based in Hong Kong. She is best known for the Steel and Fire series, beginning with Duel of Fire (2016), a fantasy sequence centered on sword dueling and elemental steel magic, continuing through Dance of Steel, King of Mist, City of Wind, and Night of Flame. Rivet has built an extensive independently published catalog of nearly thirty books across other series, including Wake Me After the Apocalypse and The Seabound Chronicles in science fiction and Empire of Talents and Art Mages of Lure in fantasy, and is set to make her traditionally published debut with Brightfire from Wednesday Books. Her books favor determined heroines navigating vivid, high-stakes worlds.
