Joseph Fink is an American writer and podcaster who co-created Welcome to Night Vale with Jeffrey Cranor, conceiving it as a twice-monthly radio show for a fictional desert town where every conspiracy theory is true. Narrated by the voice of Cecil Baldwin, the podcast began in 2012 on a shoestring budget and grew into one of the most popular fiction podcasts of its era. With Cranor, Fink co-wrote three Night Vale novels -- Welcome to Night Vale, It Devours!, and The Faceless Old Woman Who Secretly Lives in Your Home -- as well as published collections of the show's scripts. In 2015 the pair co-founded the podcast network Night Vale Presents.
