Joshua Gayou

Joshua Gayou is an author of post-apocalyptic and dystopian science fiction, known for the Commune series. Told across Commune: Book One through Book Four, the series follows survivors rebuilding society under a restrictive collective system after catastrophe, exploring themes of control, sacrifice, and the costs of imposed order. Gayou also wrote the Worldship series, including Udo the Warlord, Udo the Digger, and Udo the God, extending his interest in survival and social structure into a different far-future setting. His fiction is characterized by bleak, systems-focused world-building examining how communities organize themselves after collapse.
