Jules Watson

Jules Watson is an Australian author of historical fantasy, born in Perth, Western Australia. She is known for the Dalriada Trilogy, a series of novels set among the Iron Age Celtic peoples of ancient Scotland and Ireland during the Roman period, beginning with The Dawn Stag and continuing through The White Mare and The Boar Stone. Her fiction blends historical research on Celtic mythology and Roman-era Britain with romance and political conflict. She followed the trilogy with The Swan Maiden and The Raven Queen, further explorations of Celtic legend recast as historical fiction. Watson has published five novels within this connected body of work.
