She is best known for the Eva Evergreen series, beginning with Eva Evergreen, Semi-Magical Witch (2020) and continuing through Eva Evergreen and the Cursed Witch (2021) and Alliana, Girl of Dragons (2022), set in a magical world of witches and dragons; the first book was named a best middle-grade title by Kirkus Reviews, the New York Public Library, Bank Street, and Book Riot. She also writes the Tessa Miyata duology, including Tessa Miyata Is No Hero (2023) and Tessa Miyata Is So Unlucky (2024), and the standalone fantasies The Charmed List (2022) and The Magic Library of Waterfall Way (2026).
