Julie Cross

Julie Cross is an American author of young adult and new adult fiction, born in Germany and now based in central Illinois. She is best known for the Tempest trilogy -- Tempest, Vortex, and Timestorm -- a young-adult science-fiction series about time travel that earned a starred Kirkus review and a nomination for RT Book Reviews' Young Adult Fantasy/Futuristic/Science Fiction Novel Award. Cross has since published widely across YA and new-adult romance, including the Letters to Nowhere series and stand-alone novels such as Third Degree, Whatever Life Throws at You, and Halfway Perfect. Her work often blends emotionally driven contemporary romance with high-concept premises, a combination first established in the Tempest books that helped make her a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author.
