Justina Robson is a British science-fiction author born in 1968 in Leeds. She is best known for the five-book Quantum Gravity series and for the loosely connected Natural History and Living Next-Door to the God of Love, which explore posthuman and transhuman themes within a shared "Stuff" universe. Her other novels include Silver Screen, Mappa Mundi, and Glorious Angels. Robson's work has been nominated for the Arthur C. Clarke Award, the BSFA Award, and the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer. She studied philosophy and linguistics at the University of York and attended the Clarion West writing workshop, and has been described as one of the leading voices in British hard science fiction.
