K. B. Wagers

K. B. Wagers is an American science fiction author from Colorado with a background in Russian studies. Wagers writes space opera centered on political intrigue, martial arts, and non-violent conflict resolution, beginning with the Indranan War trilogy (2016-2018), which follows an exiled empress reluctantly returning to claim her throne, and its sequel trilogy The Farian War. Wagers also created the NeoG series, beginning with A Pale Light in the Black (2020), following a coast-guard-like interstellar rescue unit. Wagers speaks publicly about burnout and toxic productivity in the publishing industry and is represented by The Rights Factory.
