K. J. Sutton is an Amazon-bestselling American author best known for the Fortuna Sworn Saga, an urban fantasy series that has earned recognition from Kirkus Reviews and reached readers internationally. She grew up in Minnesota and holds a master's degree in creative writing from Hamline University, where she still lives today. Sutton also writes young-adult novels under the name Kelsey Sutton, and continues to write fae- and fortune-adjacent urban fantasy across series including Charlie Travesty and The Voyants. When she isn't writing in her favorite coffee shop, she spends her time walking her dogs while listening to audiobooks, or hunting for thrifted treasures.
