Kalyn Josephson

Kalyn Josephson is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of fantasy for children, teens, and adults. She is best known for the Ravenfall duology, an atmospheric mystery about a magical inn tangled up with a murder investigation, and for The Storm Crow, a young adult fantasy about a princess who bonds with an elemental crow in a kingdom ruled by dragons. Her other work includes the middle-grade adventure This Dark Descent, its follow-up Our Deadly Designs, and the games-inflected fantasies The Grimlore Game and The Library of Amorlin. Josephson writes across age groups but returns often to the same ingredients: inventive magic systems, close friendships under pressure, and heroines who have to out-think as well as out-fight their enemies. She lives on the California coast.
