Kat Richardson

Kat Richardson is an American author born in 1964, known for the Greywalker urban fantasy series set in Seattle. Beginning with Greywalker (2006), the nine-book series follows private investigator Harper Blaine, who gains the ability to perceive ghosts, vampires, and other supernatural phenomena after a near-death experience leaves her straddling the boundary between the living world and "the Grey." Richardson concluded the series after its ninth installment, Revenant (2014), before later returning to it with Through the Grey (2022). Beyond her novels, she has contributed writing to role-playing games, video games, and comics, and lives in Seattle, where much of her fiction is set.
