Kate Douglas

Kate Douglas is an American author of paranormal romance. She began her writing career in 1972 writing radio copy for a country-western station, then worked as a newspaper reporter and educational writer before publishing her first romance novel in 1998. In 2005 she signed with Kensington Publishing, and the following year launched Wolf Tales for its new Aphrodisia imprint, a paranormal shapeshifter romance series that became her best-known work. She continued the werewolf-centered Wolf Tales sequence across many volumes and built related series including Sexy Beast, the DemonSlayers, and Dream Catchers, which opened with Spirit Wild in 2013. Her novels focus on shapeshifters and paranormal romance aimed at adult readers, and she remains active in the genre after more than two decades of writing.
