Kathryn Littlewood

Kathryn Littlewood is the pen name of an American author of middle-grade fantasy. She is best known for the Bliss series, beginning with Bliss (2012), which follows a girl whose family bakery holds a magical recipe book capable of altering reality through pastry; the series continues through A Dash of Magic, Magic in the Mix, Magic by the Mouthful, and Bite-Sized Magic. The books combine cooking and baking detail with light fantasy-adventure plotting aimed at young readers, and the series has been translated internationally, including a French edition released as La Pâtisserie Bliss. Littlewood's fiction is characterized by its whimsical premise of magic embedded in ordinary domestic craft.
