Katy Rose Pool

Katy Rose Pool is an American author born and raised in Los Angeles who studied history at the University of California, Berkeley. She is best known for the Age of Darkness trilogy, an epic fantasy about a prophesied apocalypse and warring faiths spanning There Will Come a Darkness, As the Shadow Rises, and Into the Dying Light, told through multiple political and religious factions racing toward a shared reckoning. She followed it with the Garden of the Cursed series, beginning with Garden of the Cursed and continuing in Masquerade of the Heart, moving toward romance-inflected fantasy centered on a cursed sorceress. Pool's fiction is marked by intricate multi-viewpoint plotting and morally ambiguous prophecy narratives.
