Kelly McCullough

Kelly McCullough is an American fantasy and science fiction author born in 1967. He is best known for the Webmage series, beginning with WebMage (2006), an urban fantasy sequence about a cyber-hacker sorcerer whose magic runs on programming logic, and for the Fallen Blade series, launched with Broken Blade (2011), about an assassin bound in service to a goddess of thieves. He has also written the middle-grade Magic, Madness, and Mischief books for younger readers. Early in his career he won the Writers of the Future contest (2000) and published around twenty short stories and poems alongside his novels. McCullough has also written science-education curriculum materials funded by the National Science Foundation. He lives in Wisconsin, where he has served on the Dunn County Board of Supervisors since 2010.
