Kenneth W. Cain

Kenneth W. Cain is an American horror writer from Chester County, Pennsylvania, born in 1970 in Illinois, whose love of the genre began in childhood with Baba Yaga folklore and his grandfather's ghost stories, reinforced by classic television like The Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock Presents. He has published more than a hundred short stories alongside novels and novellas, including The Saga of I, and edits the long-running Tales from the Lake horror anthology series. Cain also serves as publisher and editor-in-chief at Crystal Lake: Torrid Waters, chairs the Pennsylvania chapter of the Horror Writers Association, and is a full member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association. He received the Horror Writers Association's Silver Hammer Award in 2017 and has been nominated for a Splatterpunk Award for editing.
