Kevin G. Summers is an American author born in 1974 in Washington, D.C. He is best known for the horror novel The Bleak December, published through Wonderment Media, which was a finalist for the Dragon Award for Best Horror Novel. Earlier in his career he also worked in media tie-in fiction, contributing the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine novel Ha'mara to the franchise's expanded-universe lineup and writing within the licensed Oz Universe series. Across a small but varied body of work, Summers has moved between original horror fiction and franchise tie-in writing, bringing a dark, atmospheric sensibility to both his own novels and established universes he has written within.
