Kevin Hearne

Kevin Hearne (born 1970) is an American-Canadian author of urban fantasy. Raised in Arizona, he worked as a high school English teacher before publishing his debut novel, Hounded, in 2011; he emigrated to Canada in 2017 and became a citizen in 2022. He is best known for The Iron Druid Chronicles, a New York Times bestselling series following Atticus O'Sullivan, a two-thousand-year-old Druid hiding in modern-day Arizona alongside his wolfhound and a cast of gods and mythological figures, spanning ten novels from Hounded to Scourged along with numerous novellas. Hearne has continued the same world in the Ink & Sigil series and co-writes the comic fantasy Tales of Pell with Delilah S. Dawson. He has also written the Seven Kennings epic fantasy trilogy and the Star Wars novel Heir to the Jedi.
