Larry Segriff

Larry Segriff (born 1960 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa) is an American science fiction and fantasy author and editor. He began publishing fiction in 1993 with the story 'Cat's Eye' in Cemetery Dance, and created the Tom Jenkins series, following a young protagonist's space adventures across two novels. Segriff is also known for his work in tie-in fiction, co-writing several entries in the Tom Clancy's Net Force franchise with Steve Perry, and for editing anthologies — many alongside Martin H. Greenberg — under banners including Fantastic and Fantasy Adventures, gathering original science fiction, fantasy, and mystery stories from a range of contributors. His solo novels, such as Wizardspawn and Nightmare Logic, blend science-fictional premises with encroaching fantasy elements, and he has also co-authored longer works, including The Four Magics with William R. Forstchen.
