Laura Wright is an American author of romance novels, born in Minnesota in 1970. Before turning to fiction she worked as an actress, singer, and competitive ballroom dancer, teaching ballroom and Latin dance for more than a decade, and sold her first novel to Harlequin's Silhouette Desire line after three years of writing. She is best known for the paranormal romance series Mark of the Vampire -- including Eternal Kiss and Eternal Hunger -- and for Bayou Heat, a long-running series co-written book-by-book with Alexandra Ivy. She has also written the shifter-themed Masters of Seduction novellas and the Pantera Security League books. Wright was a Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice Award finalist for Baby and the Beast and Redwolf's Woman, and lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
