Lee French

Lee French is an American author of young-adult urban fantasy and science fiction who publishes independently across a wide range of linked series. Her Ilauris Tales and its Backyard Dragons and Damsel in Distress lines follow a contemporary Pacific Northwest town where dragons and magic intrude on ordinary teenage life, while Knight & Witch and Spirit Knights extend the same setting into further installments. She has also written the superhero series Denim Superheroes and the grimmer The Greatest Sin. French posts regularly about her writing process and the Seattle-area setting that recurs throughout her work, and has contributed short fiction to genre anthologies alongside her novel-length series.
