Lisa Shearin

Lisa Shearin is an American author of humorous urban fantasy and paranormal thrillers, and a New York Times and USA Today bestseller. She is best known for the Raine Benares novels, a comedic fantasy adventure series following an elf treasure-hunter drawn into escalating magical trouble, and for the SPI Files, a paranormal espionage series pitched as a blend of Men in Black and The X-Files. She also writes the Aurora Donati series of paranormal political thrillers. Shearin favors fast-paced, wisecracking narrators navigating supernatural bureaucracies and criminal underworlds. Outside writing, she is an avid fiber artist and collector of pens and drinkware, and lives on a farm in North Carolina with her spouse, two retired racing greyhounds, and assorted local wildlife.
