Lydia Sherrer

Lydia Sherrer is an American fantasy and science fiction author best known for Love, Lies, and Hocus Pocus, an urban fantasy series blending magic, romance, and humor that began with Accidental Witch. She has also written within established shared universes, contributing short fiction to the Black Tide Rising military-survival series, and co-authoring the TransDimensional Hunter series with author John Ringo. That series, set in a near-future 2040s Cedar Rapids, follows a young woman recruited into an augmented-reality game called Transdimensional Hunter that proves to hide something more dangerous than it appears, beginning with Into the Real and continuing through Through the Storm, Behind the Veil, and Beyond the Rift. Sherrer's work consistently pairs contemporary or near-future settings with concealed magical or technological threats.
