M. K. England

M. K. England is an American author who grew up on Florida's Space Coast and now lives on a small farm in rural Virginia; they are agender and use they/them pronouns. England worked for a decade as a public teen librarian before turning to writing full-time, and has served as a Pitch Wars mentor and sits on the board of the nonprofit Rainbows and Reflections. Their debut novel, The Disasters (2018), drew attention for its found-family themes and diverse cast, with a television adaptation in development at The CW; they followed it with the genre-blending Spellhacker (2020). England has since written more than a dozen novels across young-adult, middle-grade, and adult fiction, including tie-in novels for the Firefly and Marvel universes, and writes interactive fiction for Choice of Games.
