M. S. Murdock

M. S. Murdock — Melinda Seabrooke Murdock, born in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1947 — is an American writer known for licensed tie-in science fiction of the 1980s. She entered the field with the Star Trek novel Web of the Romulans (1983) and went on to write extensively in the Buck Rogers revival line from TSR, including the Martian Wars trilogy (Rebellion 2456, Hammer of Mars, Armageddon Off Vesta) and the Inner Planets books such as Prime Squared. Alongside that franchise work she created an original space-opera series with Vendetta (1987) and Dynteryx (1988), and later returned to short original fiction with A Sea of Troubles (2002).
