Marie O'Regan is a British horror writer and anthology editor based in Derbyshire who has held leadership roles across the genre community, including four years as chairperson of the British Fantasy Society, co-chair of the UK chapter of the Horror Writers Association, and chair of StokerCon UK. She is best known for editing horror anthologies built around celebrated genre and literary figures, including Hellbound Hearts (inspired by Clive Barker's The Hellbound Heart), The Mammoth Book of Body Horror, and A Carnivale of Horror: Dark Tales from the Fairground, frequently co-edited with her husband, author Paul Kane. Beyond editing, she has written her own fiction, including Mirror Mere, Bury Them Deep, and the collection In These Hallowed Halls. Her work has been recognized on the Bram Stoker Awards preliminary ballot.
