Marina Finlayson

Marina Finlayson is an Australian author based in Sydney who left a career as a wedding organist to write "feel-good urban fantasy." She is known for the Shadows of the Immortals series, beginning with Twiceborn (2014) and continuing through Murdered Gods (2016) and Rivers of Hell (2017), which follows a woman navigating a hidden world of gods and magic. She also writes The Proving series, the Thirteen Realms books and its Thief of Souls spinoff, and the Magic's Return series, including Changeling Exile and Changeling Magic (both 2018). Finlayson additionally writes cozy mysteries under the pen name Emerald Finn.
