Mark Channing

Mark Channing (1879-1943) was a British novelist born in Kentish Town, Middlesex, who wrote adventure fiction set against the exoticized backdrop of colonial India. His novels, published in the 1930s, include White Python, King Cobra, The Poisoned Mountain, Nine Lives, and Indian Mosaic, part of a loose sequence of thrillers following the recurring character Colin Gray through intrigue, jungle peril, and occult menace in British India.
