Mark Tufo

Mark Tufo is an American horror author born in Boston, Massachusetts, known for post-apocalyptic and zombie fiction with a strong streak of dark comedy. His long-running Zombie Fallout series, beginning with the novel Zombie Fallout, follows suburban survivor Michael Talbot through a viral outbreak that turns the dead into ravenous attackers, and has expanded into related sequences including Lycan Fallout and A Shrouded World. He has also written the survival-horror series Indian Hill. Tufo built a large readership through independent and small-press publishing before his work found wider commercial release, and he continues to write extensively within the zombie and post-apocalyptic subgenres.
