Matt Serafini

Matt Serafini is an American horror writer and film critic whose fiction runs from creature-feature and slasher homage to backwoods survival horror. His debut novel, Feral, launched an ongoing series revisiting the werewolf tale, and he has continued with novels such as Under the Blade, Devil's Row, and the deep-sea horror novel Ocean Grave. In 2013 he co-authored the story collection All-Night Terror with fellow horror novelist Adam Cesare, later expanded with additional stories from each writer. Alongside his fiction, Serafini has built a long-running career as a genre film critic and journalist, reviewing horror releases for outlets including Dread Central and JoBlo.com, work that keeps his fiction in close conversation with decades of slasher and creature-feature cinema.
