Megan Crewe

Megan Crewe is a Canadian author of young-adult fiction, born in 1980 in Toronto, where she attended Riverdale Collegiate Institute before studying at York University. Her novel Give Up the Ghost, about a teenager who prefers the company of ghosts to the living, was a finalist for the Sunburst Award. Her Fallen World trilogy, opening with The Way We Fall, follows a teenager's diary account of a small island town collapsing under a lethal pandemic, continuing through The Lives We Lost and The Worlds We Make. Her Conspiracy of Magic series, beginning with Ruthless Magic, reimagines competitive magic as a secretive, exclusionary institution that a working-class heroine must infiltrate. She has also written the standalone Earth & Sky and its sequels.
