Melissa Landers

Melissa Landers is an American author of science fiction for teen and adult readers. She is best known for two completed YA series: the Alienated trilogy (Alienated, Invaded, United), about a first-contact exchange program between humans and an alien species, and the Starflight duology (Starflight, Starfall), a science-fiction adventure following a fugitive girl who stows away on a cargo starship. Landers later expanded into middle-grade fiction with Blastaway, published by Disney-Hyperion, and continued writing YA romance and speculative fiction including The Half King and Make Me a Liar. Her books combine fast-paced plotting with romantic subplots, a pairing that has made her a recurring presence on YA science-fiction shelves.
