Michael Northrop

Michael Northrop is an American author, born in Salisbury, Connecticut, of the TombQuest series, published by Scholastic, which follows two young friends, Alex Sennefer and Ren Duran, after an ancient Egyptian spell used to save Alex's life accidentally awakens five monstrous Death Walkers. The series carries them through international settings as they race to undo the spell's consequences across installments including Book of the Dead, Valley of the Kings, Amulet Keepers, and The Final Kingdom. Northrop writes adventure and light-horror fiction aimed at middle-grade and young-adult readers, building a body of work centered on fast-paced, high-concept series for younger audiences.
