Michelle Rowen is a Canadian author born in 1971 in Toronto, Ontario, who writes across urban fantasy, paranormal romance, and young-adult fantasy. Under the pen name Morgan Rhodes she is a New York Times bestselling author of the young-adult fantasy series Falling Kingdoms, a six-book saga of warring kingdoms that spun off the companion series A Book of Spirits and Thieves. Writing as Michelle Rowen, she is known for the vampire romantic-comedy series Immortality Bites, beginning with Bitten & Smitten, and for the young-adult series Demon Princess.
