Mickey Zucker Reichert is an American fantasy author, born Miriam Susan Zucker in 1962 in Camden, New Jersey. A practicing pediatrician alongside her writing career, she is best known for reworking Norse mythology into epic fantasy in the Bifrost Guardians series, beginning with Godslayer (1987), and its successor, the Renshai Chronicles. She has also contributed short fiction to Mercedes Lackey's shared Valdemar universe and wrote three authorized prequel novels to Isaac Asimov's I, Robot, published between 2011 and 2016 with the approval of Asimov's estate. Reichert has been published by DAW Books for more than twenty-five years.
