Mike Brooks

Mike Brooks is an English author, born in 1982 in Ipswich, Suffolk. He writes across science fiction and fantasy, publishing widely within Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000 setting -- including novels and novellas following characters such as Huron Blackheart and Lelith Hesperax, and the Astra Militarum-focused Rites of Passage -- as well as original series of his own. His Keiko novels, opening with Dark Run, follow the crew of a starship, while The God-King Chronicles, beginning with The Black Coast, is an epic fantasy trilogy continued in The Splinter King and The Godbreaker. He has also written comic Ork-focused novellas under the Gobbo banner. Brooks maintains an active output across both licensed tie-in fiction and his own creator-owned worlds.
