Mike Massa

Mike Massa is an American military science fiction author who writes primarily in collaboration with John Ringo within the Black Tide Rising zombie-apocalypse universe, co-authoring novels including River of Night and The Valley of Shadows and contributing short fiction to the series' anthologies. He also writes within the Tales of the Terran Republic shared setting alongside authors such as Griffin Barber and Charles E. Gannon, co-writing the novella Murphy's Lawless and its sequel Mission Critical, which follow mercenary operators navigating a war-torn interstellar frontier. Massa's fiction favors tactical, boots-on-the-ground detail consistent with the collaborative military-SF style cultivated by Baen Books' shared universes.
