Monica Burns

Monica Burns is an American author of historical, contemporary, and paranormal romance, writing across heat levels from sweet to explicit. She is known for the Forevermore series, including Forever Mine (2014), which won a 2016 IPPY Bronze Medal, and Dangerous (2009), and for the Order of the Sicari series, a paranormal romance sequence blending assassins with the supernatural, including Assassin's Heart (2010), which won the 2011 PRISM Best of the Best award for paranormal romance, and Assassin's Honor (2010). She also writes the Reckless Rockwoods and Self-Made Men series. Burns has spoken openly about writing through breast cancer treatment and living with bipolar disorder, describing romance writing as part of her own healing.
