Natania Barron

Natania Barron is an American fantasy author known for blending mythology, medieval history, and lush description across several subgenres, from Arthurian retellings to Regency fantasy romance and steampunk. She is best known for the Queens of Fate series, which opens with Queen of None, winner of the Manly Wade Wellman Award for North Carolina speculative fiction, and continues through Queen of Mercy, alongside the linked Love in Netherford novels and the Frost & Filigree novella collection. Barron holds a BA in English/Writing from Loyola University Maryland and an MA in English with a medieval-literature concentration from UNC Greensboro, drawing on research into illuminated manuscripts for her worldbuilding.
