Nate Crowley

Nate Crowley is a British science fiction author born in London. He is best known for The Schneider Wrack Chronicles, in which an executed criminal is reanimated as a zombie and put to work aboard a whaling ship on a distant ocean world; the two novels and a further story were later collected as the omnibus The Death and Life of Schneider Wrack. His other original work includes 100 Best Video Games (That Never Existed), an illustrated spoof guide to invented games. Crowley subsequently moved into licensed tie-in fiction for the Warhammer 40,000 setting, writing the novel Ghazghkull Thraka: Prophet of the Waaagh! and contributing to the Astra Militarum and Twice-Dead King series. His fiction pairs inventive, often satirical world-building with grim science-fictional premises.
