Nick Kyme

Nick Kyme is a British editor and author, born in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, in 1977, who has worked in games journalism and tie-in fiction since the late 1990s. Writing primarily for Games Workshop's Black Library imprint, he is best known for his contributions to the Warhammer 40,000 setting, particularly the Salamanders chapter of Space Marines, beginning with the Tome of Fire trilogy, Salamander (2009), Firedrake (2010), and Nocturne (2011), which traces the chapter's internal politics and combat against alien and heretical threats. He later contributed to the Horus Heresy series, a long-running multi-author project chronicling a galaxy-spanning civil war, with novels including Vulkan Lives (2013), Deathfire (2015), and Old Earth (2017). Kyme has also written for Games Workshop's historical Warhammer Fantasy setting, and has edited numerous anthologies across both settings, building dense, faction-specific lore over more than a decade within Games Workshop's shared universes.
