Nick Lake

Nick Lake is a British author and editor known for young-adult fiction that blends literary ambition with genre elements. He is best known for In Darkness (2012), which intercuts the story of a boy trapped under rubble after the 2010 Haiti earthquake with the historical narrative of Haitian revolutionary leader Toussaint Louverture, a novel that won the Michael L.
