Nicole Peeler

Nicole Peeler is an American author and educator born in 1978 in Aurora, Illinois. She holds a B.A. in English literature from Boston University and a Ph.D. in English literature from the University of Edinburgh, and teaches at Seton Hill University in Pennsylvania after previously serving as an assistant professor at Louisiana State University Shreveport. She is best known for the Jane True urban fantasy series, six novels published between 2009 and 2014, including Tempest Rising (2009), Tracking the Tempest (2010), and Tempest's Fury (2012). She also began The Jinni series with Jinn and Juice (2014) and contributed short fiction set within Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse universe.
