Nik Vincent is a British author born in 1964 who has written extensively in partnership with Dan Abnett across novels, comics, and tie-in fiction. Together they wrote Warhammer Fantasy novels including Gilead's Blood and Hammers of Ulric, and the serialized Black Library novel Gilead's Curse, following the wizard Gilead Lothain. Vincent and Abnett also co-wrote Tomb Raider tie-in novels, including Lara Croft and the Blade of Gwynnever and The Ten Thousand Immortals, and the comic series Kingdom, collected as Fiefdom and The Promised Land. Their most recent collaboration, Knights of the Empire (2019), returns to the Warhammer setting. Across more than two decades of joint work, Vincent and Abnett have built a shared body of tie-in and original fantasy fiction spanning multiple franchises and media.
