P. M. Griffin

P. M. Griffin (1947-2020) was an American author of speculative fiction, active from the mid-1980s until her death. She is best known for her military science-fiction series Star Commandos, twelve novels published between 1986 and 2004 following a mercenary unit through interstellar conflict, and for her extensive contributions to Andre Norton's shared universes, co-authoring entries in the Witch World sequence, including Storms of Victory and Flight of Vengeance, as well as books in Norton's Time Traders series, such as Firehand, and Solar Queen series, such as Redline the Stars. Griffin's fiction favored straightforward, fast-moving adventure plotting, and her long collaboration with Norton placed her among the more prolific contributors to that author's expansive shared-world franchises.
