Paul E. Cooley

Paul E. Cooley is an American author and podcaster, born in Houston, Texas, in 1970, who works primarily in horror, science fiction, and thriller fiction, and continues to live and write in his native city. A software developer by profession, he has spent over a decade podcasting his fiction before print and audio release, and co-hosts the Dead Robots' Society writing podcast. He is best known for The Black, a Lovecraftian horror series that won a Parsec Award, and for the military-SF Derelict series, the horror serial Garaaga's Children, and the football-in-space Galactic Football League novellas. His stories favor dark, psychological horror and dense world-building, often serialized as podcasts before appearing in print, audiobook, and ebook formats.
