Paula Goodlett is an American author best known for her long writing partnership with Gorg Huff inside Eric Flint's 1632 (Ring of Fire) shared-world alternate history. The two introduced the series' "Russian thread" in the Grantville Gazette with the serial Butterflies in the Kremlin, developed into the novel 1636: The Kremlin Games, and have continued it through further novels including 1637: The Volga Rules, A Holmes for the Czar, and A Mission for the Czar, tracing Russia's transformation after contact with the displaced 20th-century American town at the heart of the series. Beyond the Ring of Fire novels, Goodlett and Huff also co-write original fantasy in the WarSpell and StarWings series, one of the more sustained author partnerships within Flint's broader collaborative-fiction project.
