Peadar Ò Guilin

Peadar Ó Guilín is an Irish author of fantasy and horror fiction for young readers, who grew up in County Donegal and was educated at Clongowes Wood College before settling in Dublin. His debut novel, The Inferior (2007), opened The Bone World Trilogy, a work translated into nine languages that the Times Educational Supplement called "a stark, dark tale, written with great energy and confidence." He is best known for The Call (2016) and its sequel The Invasion (2018), a dystopian pair in which Irish teenagers are dragged into a hostile fairy realm as part of a brutal survival ritual rooted in Celtic myth. He has also written short fiction for the shared-world Wild Cards anthology series and worked earlier in theatre and comics.
